Professional Development

Self-education is something the dedicated professional miner does every day -- not just at the required times, and not just in the classroom. The Professional Miner Program will soon unveil a professional development program where Professional Miners can receive recognition for continuing to develop their health and safety skills. Selected training courses and modules will be recommended for those miners who want to keep at the top of their game.

For now, here are some training sources you can use today to become an even better Professional Miner:

bulletProtect your SCSR so it can protect you! (CSE SR-100) (MSHA)
bulletElectrical safety, "Bob's Electrical Shock" (MSHA)
bulletFirst Aid, "Belt Line Problem" (MSHA)
bullet Material Handling Safety (MSHA)
bullet How to wear soft foam earplugs (NIOSH)
bulletHearing Loss Simulator (NIOSH)
